My Background

I was born and educated in Oxford, where I studied Engineering Science. I moved to London in 1982 and began my career in studios — working first as an engineer and synthesiser-programmer, before evolving into a record producer.
Over the years I’ve expanded into a full-fledged music professional: a producer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, recording engineer and mixer. Based in Sussex today, I’ve worked with a variety of artists — such as Londonbeat, Erasure, The Beloved and Jesus Jones — producing hit records that have reached the top of charts worldwide, across many genres.
